Tear Salad

Gallons under the kitchen sink hid away so when you ask if I’m okay I can say yes. I can hide my fears away bet you’ll never look deeper and see how afraid of loosing you I am.

You matter so much to me. What happened to caring just enough to run in case of being abandoned but here I am, unlocked.

Loving but fear stands in dark corners smoking cigarettes pointing at his watch mouthing soon you’ll forget all about me and I’ll be an ashamed fool.

Gallons of tears and sweat, hidden away no you’ll never guess how important this is, how your love makes me feel, and how salads grind teeth envious of how I toss and turn at night.
