Baskets filled of loving care
Trashed all of our slippery despair
Clocks running everywhere at all times
I just want to smile with you before I sleep
Worthless to the world but God loves us
And we, can share, the little time we have left before the end
Remember every smile you’ve created on my face.
Stormy evenings but clear sky mornings
Nothing we do together is uneventful
Even though we are abandoned by our kin
We’ve found love above in Heaven and within with Jesus
Sunday clothes well pressed
And we can share the little time we have left.
