I don’t like uneven pavement
Overcorrecting into question mark spirals,
When my drive isn’t cozy anxiety yanks
Acceleration slows
Hesitation reigning through small toes I pull back
Detour,
Not this time, the only gear through my mental standoff is drive
Only escape is head held high, affections above, sensors lie
Jesus, my navigation, rest area, destination, proper equipment maintenance, correct tire inflation, fuel, permanent registration renewal.
